Why did Dr. Paige and Dr. David start Salt and Spine Chiropractic?

After graduating chiropractic school both doctors were eager to join the profession and start helping patients. We packed up our things and moved to where we could be hired and started getting to the grind. Just like every young professional.

It didn’t take them long after practicing in the “real world” as we called it during school to notice a spoke in the wheel was broken. Yes we were helping people. Yes we were seeing changes in our patients. Yes we were practicing chiropractic. And yet both of us felt like something was missing.

We wanted to be chiropractors because we wanted to help people help themselves. We noticed patients were getting better but they were dependent upon us, and it was taking them a long time to have noticeable changes that remained consistent throughout their treatment plans. We were practicing to the best of our abilities that our current place of work allowed, so what was wrong?

It didn’t take much more than a year to start to piece together that missing spoke. We weren’t practicing chiropractic the way we felt best suited patients and best suited us as doctors. Ultimately we were doing a disservice to our patients.

Thus Salt and Spine Chiropractic was created. A practice that could ebb and flow with each patient. A place where we had the time to sit and talk at length about your health concerns and treatments. A home that we could be proud to bring our patient family to and see the results we anticipated from each patient. And our personal favorite, a health care system that patients weren’t dependent upon daily for pain relief.

We created this practice to ensure that the care we give is 110% what is best for our patients and gives them the tools to live each day confidently in their own bodies. We would much rather see our patients running past in the park rather than running into our doors because to us that means we have done our job.

Contact us today to experience Salt and Spine’s approach to chiropractic. It’s time we fix those broken spokes in medicine!
