Setting Goals

You may have noticed in your new patient intake forms that we asked for your goals of your treatment. As in life, it is very important to set goals, so that you have something to work to achieve. The doctors you see will ask you for your set goals of your treatment. We want to best help you reach your goals, and we promise to strive to give you the resources to best reach them!

In health, there should always be an active component toward reaching ones goals. We dont just mean exercising or performing stretching, but rather having active participation in your own treatment plan. Our team is here to make sure you reach the goals you want in your own health. From education to rehabilitation, we have resources to help.

Whether you’re an athlete trying to optimize your physical performance, or you’re just trying to get through your day without the pains you experience without a true known cause, we strive to find the best way to address your issues and set a plan for achieving your own personal health goals. Wellness has many forms, with its definition constantly changing based on updated information, and patient experiences. Your definition of wellness should be based around your experience in your healing. Each patient has a different story, and the way we assist with their own healing makes each experience unique.

To best reach your goals, we strongly encourage co-management with other health professionals. You may hear us refer you to various providers to work with us on your case. In our clinic, our providers believe that access to more resources means you have an advantage to reach your goals. We want to work with your team! If you have anyone that you work with (trainer, coach, surgeon, physical therapist, etc.), we want to work WITH them to best achieve your goals.

Our goal as providers is to see you reach your goals. Part of the path of healing is to maintain health once it is reached. We have extensive experience with maintaining wellness care, and will address your own maintenance, once achieved.

Here at Salt and Spine, we believe in observing each patient individually. We elect to not accept any form of insurance, to ensure we maintain the best capability of prescribing the correct treatment plan to best serve you. On a given day at either one of our offices, you will likely cross paths with someone who has a completely different treatment plan, but typically has similar goals toward reaching “wellness” or “healing.” Contact us to see how our doctors can help you achieve your goals!
